Christopher Ashworth - RETIRED
Chris Ashworth was a shareholder of the firm and co-chair of the Business Litigation Group. He focused his practice on complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, general business litigation and interstate and intrastate commerce litigation. He has further experience in Constitutional litigation involving the Commerce Clause, Supremacy Clause and freedoms of speech, religion and assembly. He has represented clients in more than 165 trials, including over 35 jury trials. He has argued at the Superior, Appellate and Supreme Court levels. Chris' recent public service activities include commitments as an Early Neutral Evaluator for the United States District Court, Northern District of California and court-appointed receiver for Mountain Charlie Waterworks, Inc.
Prior to attending law school, Chris served with the United States Marine Corps, earning the rank of Captain.
