Myron Brody


Myron Brody is a shareholder and the CEO and President of Silicon Valley Law Group.    He has expertise in all aspects of sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisition, development, leasing, joint ventures, partnerships, limited liability companies, ground and space leasing, conventional and conduit financing, design and construction agreements, development agreements, dispute resolution and title matters.  He counsels developers, investors and public and private companies in sales, acquisitions, joint ventures and leasing transactions including negotiation and consummation of highly complex real estate transactions.  He has been awarded an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating for professional excellence and is based on ethics and legal ability.

Myron's clients include commercial, industrial, residential, shopping center and hotel developers, as well as private and institutional lenders and Fortune 1000 companies.

Representative Engagements

  • Myron was instrumental in securing a contested financial guaranty in excess of $50 million for a major local developer.
  • In connection with a condemnation, Myron's client stood to lose millions of dollars as a result of a purported lease termination.  Myron successfully structured the transaction using some unique tax planning to obtain a multi-million dollar settlement where his client avoided a major loss.
  • Myron and his team completed the acquisition and sale of many apartment complexes, office projects and retail projects, in California, Texas, Washington, Arizona and Georgia.
  • Myron represented many partners in a partnership dispute regarding a retail shopping center, culminating in a settlement and the sale of the property for $22 million - several million more than had been anticipated.
  • Myron has also been a mediator and arbitrator in scores of disputes.
  • Substantial long-term ground leases for apartments, offices and hotels have also been a main part of Myron's transactions.
