Jeff Lawson, the head of SVLG's environmental law department, was part of an expert panel presentation on water resource management for the Beijing Hydraulic Research Institute during the week of December 6, 2010. The purpose of the panel was to help develop a new program for assessing and managing ecological impacts to aquatic resources and inform decisions regarding appropriate compensatory measures to offset impacts.
